In honor of International Women's Day I decided to wear one of my FAVORITE tees that says it all. GIRLS SUPPORT GIRLS by Daisy Natives. I own this shirt in couple different colors and let me tell you! Its seriously one of the most comfy shirts I own! The quality is superb and it just hugs the body in all the right ways! It's all size inclusive, which I LOVE! And the cut is very flattering also. Its not a traditional "Women's Cut" to where its not going to work on the curvier folks. But not a "Men's Cut" either to where its going to look tight in the boobs and loose on the arms and stomach. Here is what Daisy Natives has to say about their Girls Support Girls Collection. Because too often we'd rather compete than lift each other up. Girls Support Girls. No matter what. $1 from every purchase of the Girls Support Girls tee will be donated to Girls For A Change, a national organization that inspires girls to have the voice, ability and problem solving capacity to speak up, be decision makers, create visionary change and realize their full potential. -Gold yellow/navy design (also available in pink, white, emerald green, navy blue, and baseball tee) -Unisex (see Size Guide under FAQs!) -Super soft ringspun tee -50% Polyester/25% Cotton/25% Rayon -Screenprinted in Austin, TX Now lets talk about this full length tulle skirt! I MEAN!! GET REAL RIGHT?! Its seriously one of my favorite fashion pieces! Its from Society plus and retails for around $110.00.
Now I know thats a little pricy for a tutu, but let me tell you. its literally worth every penny! I may not know a thing or two about a thing or two, but your girls knows tutus! Ive bought them, made them, my entire life basically lol And when I tell you I have never found a more amazing tutu, you can take that to the bank! Not only does it come in lots of other colors, but lots of different lengths as well! Everyone needs a tutu in their closet in my opinion lol. This Gem of a leather jacket is a 3xl and by Jessica Simpson believe it or not! I had no idea she was turning out clothes for the plus size team! Go Jess!! I purchased it at Burlington Coat Factory a couple years ago. Not wanting to fully commit to a letter jacket vibe, a simple drape over the shoulders gives the outfit that "I am woman, hear me roar!" In a fashionable way type of moment! xox

Once Upon a TimeGrowing up with a single dad, and a house with only boys, let just say fashion wasn't something I was at all familiar with. Add being plus size to that and its "you are wearing what your brother wears just in bigger boy sizes." There was no Torrid, Lane Bryant, Forever21 plus- At least my Dad had not discovered it yet.I think thankfully by age 13 there was a Fashionbug?? EEKK! Having literally worn boy clothes for most of my life I learned at a very young age that fashion, style and beauty have to start inside and radiate through you. Archives
